The main objective is to make Mzumbe university, with well informed and envisted with culture and sports. Also to facilitate the nourishing of different talents from different students for the purpose of growth of culture and accountability to students.

Responsibilities

  • Political head of the Ministry
  • Chief advisor to the President in matters concerning the youths, culture, sports and entertainment that involves the students within and outside the campus
  • Receive orders directly from the President though can also be advised by any member of MUSO Board that is The Vice-President, Prime Minister and General Secretary.
  • Ensure the implementations of all major projects of the ministry
  • Organize and supervise all sports conducted within the campus and ensure efficiency and sustainable progress in the sports and games conducted
  • Maintain and reveal the Mzumbe university culture as a whole in social aspects.
  • Ensure that entertainment events are carried out frequently without interfering the master timetable and set limits to enable students to have time to relax and socialize





  • Ensure that all sport gears and sport fields are preserved and maintain to suit the demand of students.
  • Supervise the interfaculty sports and ensure that all protocols and orders are observed.
  • At executive level, he/she perform his/her work as far as all youths, culture, sports and entertainment aspects.
  • Prepare the budget for the ministry of youths, culture, sports and entertainment and compile to the general budget for all ministries
  • Design and coordinate ways for harmonizing all affairs that directly involved the social and entertainment student’s welfare within and outside the campus.
  • Cooperate with other ministries in matters related to the youths, culture, sports and entertainment students’ welfare.
  • Keep record of all ongoing events within the campus that relates to the Ministry
  • Learn, observe and respect all rules and procedures with regard all matters that directly involve the ministry’s roles
